Day 1: Arrival in Beijing




Welcome to Beijing, China's vibrant capital steeped in centuries of imperial history. Upon arrival at Beijing Capital International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your local tour guide and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure to rest and recover from your journey.


Day 2: Beijing City Highlights




Morning

Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and begin your exploration of Beijing’s historical treasures. Visit Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world, followed by a guided tour of the Forbidden City, the majestic imperial palace complex. Conclude the morning with a short hike to Jingshan Park, offering panoramic views over the Forbidden City from atop Coal Hill.

Afternoon
Enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to the charming Back Lakes (Houhai) area, rich with culture and history. Stroll through the lively Nanluoguxiang Hutong, a mix of traditional Beijing alleys, boutique shops, and cafés. A visit to a local teahouse will round out the day.

Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. Evening activities such as a Peking Duck dinner or a night show can be arranged upon request.


Day 3: The Great Wall and Olympic Park




Morning
Depart for the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, renowned for its scenic beauty and fewer crowds. You may hike or take a cable car for easier access and stunning views.

Afternoon
After lunch at a nearby restaurant, return to Beijing. En route, stop at a jade carving workshop. Back in the city, enjoy a guided orientation walk through the Olympic Park, with photo opportunities at the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube stadiums.

Evening
Optional: Enjoy a traditional Chinese foot massage or explore the lively Sanlitun Bar Street.



Day 4: Beijing to Xi’an



Begin the day with a visit to the Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of Chinese architecture and spiritual culture. Observe locals practicing Tai Chi and other morning exercises. Continue to a nearby Hutong district to experience daily life in old Beijing.

Enjoy lunch at a popular local restaurant before heading to the train station for a high-speed train to Xi’an (approx. 5 hours). Upon arrival, you will be met by your Xi’an guide and transferred to your hotel.


Day 5: Terracotta Warriors & Muslim Quarter




Morning
Visit the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors and Horses, an extraordinary archaeological site showcasing thousands of life-sized clay soldiers. A stop at a local pottery workshop provides insight into the craft behind the warriors.

Afternoon
After lunch, return to Xi’an to explore the Bell Tower, one of the largest and best-preserved towers in China. Then visit Gao’s Courtyard to discover traditional shadow puppetry and paper-cutting art. End the day with a stroll through the bustling Muslim Quarter, a great spot for local snacks and souvenirs.

Evening Optional: Tang Dynasty Music & Dance Show with dinner.


Day 6: Xi’an to Guilin


Begin with a visit to the Ancient City Wall, where you can cycle or take an electric cart for a unique perspective of the city. Continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a landmark of ancient Chang’an, and enjoy the musical fountain show at the north square.

After lunch, visit the Hanyang Mausoleum en route to the airport. Fly to Guilin, where you will be welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your hotel.


Day 7: Longji Rice Terraces




Morning
Journey to Longsheng (approx. 2 hours), home to the breathtaking Longji Rice Terraces. These ancient terraces wind around the hillsides like stairways to heaven.

Afternoon
Enjoy a local lunch in a minority village, with opportunities to try traditional dishes like bamboo rice. Afterwards, explore the Zhuang and Yao ethnic villages, and witness scenes of rural life including traditional crafts and folk attire.

Return to Guilin by late afternoon. Optional: Join a Night Cruise on Guilin’s Four Lakes, illuminated with lanterns and live performances.


Day 8: Li River Cruise to Yangshuo



Today, embark on a Li River Cruise to Yangshuo, taking in the stunning karst landscapes that have inspired Chinese poets for centuries. A buffet lunch is served onboard.

Upon arrival in Yangshuo, stroll along the vibrant West Street, known for its eclectic mix of East and West. Return to Guilin by late afternoon for an overnight stay.


Day 9: Guilin to Shanghai



Visit Reed Flute Cave, a limestone cavern filled with dramatic stalactites and stalagmites. Then enjoy coffee with a spectacular view of Elephant Trunk Hill, an iconic Guilin landmark.

Walk along the Li River and Shanhu Lake, viewing the Golden and Silver Pagodas. After lunch, transfer to the airport and fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel.


Day 10: Shanghai City Exploration




Morning

Explore the traditional Shikumen alleys and experience local Shanghai life. Visit the historic Bund, followed by a tour of the classical Yuyuan Garden.

Afternoon
After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple and browse a silk museum. Continue to the modern Lujiazui CBD, and enjoy leisure time on the Riverside Promenade before ascending the Shanghai Tower, China’s tallest building, for a panoramic city view.

Evening Optional: ERA Acrobatic Show, a world-class performance blending acrobatics with multimedia artistry.


Day 11: Departure from Shanghai





Enjoy free time before your transfer to the airport for your departure. Optionally, experience a high-speed Maglev train ride to Pudong Airport.
