Day 1: Arrival & Kigali Immersion




Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to the Kigali Serena Hotel for check-in. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, relaxing in the elegant surroundings of this centrally located property, adorned with exquisite Rwandan art. This serene start offers a vibrant introduction to Rwanda’s rich culture and warm hospitality.


Day 2: Cultural Heritage & Nyungwe Canopy Walk





 After breakfast, journey south to Nyungwe Forest, stopping en route at the Nyanza King’s Palace—a historical site that offers fascinating insights into Rwanda’s royal past. Continue to Butare for a visit to the National Museum of Rwanda, where traditional artifacts and exhibits provide a deeper understanding of the country’s heritage.
After lunch, arrive at Nyungwe National Park and embark on the exhilarating Canopy Walk, a thrilling experience that takes you high above the rainforest for panoramic views. In the evening, check in at Nyungwe Hill Top View Hotel, nestled on a scenic tea plantation.


Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe Forest




 Rise early for an unforgettable Chimpanzee trekking experience in the heart of Nyungwe Forest. Day 4: Transfer to Lake Kivu




 After breakfast, depart for the picturesque town of Gisenyi on the shores of Lake Kivu. Day 5: Cultural Encounters & Volcanoes National Park

Day 7: Golden Monkey Trek & Return to Kigali




Begin the day with a Golden Monkey trekking excursion, another unique wildlife encounter within the park. These energetic primates are known for their acrobatics and playful behavior in the bamboo forests.
After the trek, enjoy lunch and journey back to Kigali for your final evening at the Kigali Serena Hotel.


Day 8: Kigali City Tour & Departure




After breakfast, enjoy a guided Kigali City Tour, including a moving visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, offering profound insight into Rwanda’s past and its journey of healing and resilience. Following a farewell lunch, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
